As an educator and a parent, I can appreciate the value of these small, sturdy, productive, yet affordable devices. Quick access to the internet and computing is a necessity in society today for people of all ages.

Unfortunately, having the financial means to purchase and provide for a family of internet ready individuals can be a challenge.

We as parents and educators would like everyone to have access to technology but given the economy, that is not always easy. I see however, that the availability of the mini laptop in the market place today lessens that financial burden.

Call it a scaled down laptop, a subnotebook, a netbook, a mini note, or a mini laptop, it all amounts to being a great product at a great price. This very affordable, state of the art device allows technology to be more readily available to most even in the midst of this poor economy.
